Real… Relevant… Relational… Warm… Family… These are just some of the words I hear from our guests as they describe their first Christ’s Church experience. I hope you’ll agree! I want to personally invite you to be our guest this Sunday. The service lasts about 65 minutes. You’ll experience music like what you listen to on the radio. We’ll take communion and receive an offering. Finally, you’ll be challenged by a message taught in a practical way that’s relevant to your life. If you have children, they’ll hear about Jesus in a fun environment designed just for them. My prayer for you is that you’ll find Christ’s Church to be a safe and comfortable place where you feel right at home.
Scott became the lead pastor of Christ's Church in 2009. Since that time, under his leadership, the church has grown from an average weekly attendance of 75 to now more than 1,100.
Married for 18 years to Amanda, they have one daughter, Ally. Their favorite family getaway is to go cruising and they love going to the movies.
Scott received his B.A. in Practical Ministries from Trinity Seminary, his M.A. in Church Leadership also from Trinity, and is currently working on his doctoral thesis in church culture. He also released his first book in 2015 entitled, DRIFT.
Scott's passion is to reach people far from God by embracing the power of diversity. Christ's Church is currently about 35% racially diverse, but Scott says that's not good enough! We'd love for you to be a part of this movement in Kingsland, St Marys and the surrounding communities.
