Unstoppable | Week 10

A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat.”
“No, Lord!” Peter said. “For I have never eaten anything impure and ritually unclean.”
Again, a second time, the voice said to him, “What God has made clean, do not call impure.”  Acts 10:13-15

While talking with him, he went in and found a large gathering of people. Peter said to them, “You know it’s forbidden for a Jewish man to associate with or visit a foreigner, but God has shown me that I must not call any person impure or unclean.  Acts 10:27-28

**Every person has immense value.

So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female. Genesis 1:27

Peter began to speak: “Now I truly understand that God doesn’t show favoritism, but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
Acts 10:34-35

**Every person is welcomed into God’s family through faith.

I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!”  Revelation 7:9-10

The apostles and the brothers and sisters who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. When Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party criticized him, saying, “You went to uncircumcised men and ate with them.”  Acts 11:1-3

But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he stood

condemned. For he regularly ate with the Gentiles before certain men came from James. However, when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, because he feared those from the circumcision party.  Then the rest of the Jews joined his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. But when I saw that they were deviating from the truth of the gospel… Galatians 2:11-14

**We must never deviate from the Gospel.

For those of you who were baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ. There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male and female;since you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:27-28
