“Ginosko” – to Know
This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commands. 1 John 2:3
Children, it is the last hour. And as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18
This is how we have come to know love: He laid down his life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16
This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. 1 John 4:2
This is how we know that we love God’s children: when we love God and obey his commands. 1 John 5:2
I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life— 2 that life was revealed, and we have seen it and we testify and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us— 3 what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may also have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We are writing these things so that our joy may be complete. 1 John 1:1-4
