This Is How We Know | Week Ten

I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.  1 John 5:13 

Ginosis = Know 

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him.  1 John 5:1

…everyone who has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith.  1 John 5:4

We know that we are of God, and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one. 

1 John 5:19

Who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?  1 John 5:5

…the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world 4:4

God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1 John 5:11

…that life was revealed, and we have seen it and we testify and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us 1 John 1:2

And this is the promise that he himself made to us: eternal life. 1 John 2:25

We are in the true one—that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.  1 John 5:20

The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life.  1 John 5:12

I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.  1 John 5:13 

Little children, guard yourselves from idols.  1 John 5:21
