Easter 2024

There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God.

Jesus was truly human, and he gave himself to rescue all of us.  1 Timothy 2:5-6

Jesus is the bridge to a relationship with God

Your sins are the roadblock between you and God.  Isaiah 59:2 

“I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.  John 14:6

Jesus is the bridge to freedom and power

“…know that God’s power is very great for us who believe. That power is the same as the great strength God used to raise Christ from the dead and put him at his right side in the heavenly world.”  Ephesians 1:19-20 

Jesus is the bridge to eternal life

Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who were held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.  Hebrews 2:14-15

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live. Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”  John 11:25-26
