SERIES: Would You Rather?
MESSAGE: The Good Way or Easy Way?

Would you rather lose your ability to speak or the ability to hear?

Would you rather have more money or more time?

Would you rather know how you will die or when you will die?

Freeze to death OR burn to death? 

Would you rather wear the same socks for a month or the same underwear for a week?

Would you rather go without shampoo for the rest of your life or toothpaste for the rest of your life?

Would you rather have to eat only broccoli for the rest of your life or be forced to watch an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians every day?

Would you rather take the good way or the easy way? 

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, because he was teaching them like one who had authority, and not like their scribes.  Matthew 7:28-29 

“Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.  Matthew 7:13-14

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14:6

Over 60% of born again Christians in American between the ages of 18-39 believe that Jesus isn’t the only way to Heaven – and that Buddha and Muhammad aso are valid paths to salvation.  (Probe Ministries, Religious Views & Practices Survey, 2020) 

Where are you tempted to choose the easy road over the good road?
